Connect U.S. Fund Job Announcement: Executive Director

The Connect U.S. Fund is seeking an Executive Director committed to our vision of responsible U.S. global engagement and the belief that the whole of NGO advocacy in support of this goal must be greater than the sum of its parts.

The current Executive Director, Heather Hamilton, is leaving DC to fulfill her dream of sailing around the world. We expect to fill this position by mid-October.

As the Senate begins debate on the U.S.-Russia New START arms-reduction treaty, we must not lose sight of a glaring problem in our national security: the impact that the U.S. failure to join major multilateral treaties has on our capacity to exercise global leadership. This failure threatens to make us, in a sad parody of Madeleine Albright's famous phrase, the "dispensable nation."
