11 Best Prayers for Motorcycle Riders

Many motorcyclists are a part of a local club or cause that they ride for. These prayers for motorcycle riders will continue to encourage their lifestyle, cause, and love for riding on the open road.

Prayer #1

LORD, thank you for the open air, the feel of wind blowing through my hair;

Just me alone upon my bike, the thrill of freedom’s what I like.
To wind through country unexplored, not knowing what I’ll see next LORD;

That’s what I seek when off I ride,

I’m thankful that you’re by my side.
If I should ride ’til morning’s light, please keep me safe throughout the night;

And when I’ve come to journey’s end, It’s you I’ll thank – protector, FRIEND.

Prayer #2

I pray for all the groups and clubs,
I pray for the sport that all of us love.
No matter what style no matter what race,
Your soul has no color, your soul has no face.
We started out afraid to lean right or left,
And now we use speeds that could bring us death.

So turn back the throttle it might save your life,
You may have a husband, you may have a wife.
Think of your family and what they will miss,
Your touch and your smile, the warmth of your kiss.
Think of your loved ones when you turn the key,
God Bless all the bikers and also
God Bless Me.

Prayer #3

O, dear Father, I ask for you to watch over me as I ride from point A to B. Help all other motorists to see me clearly and help me to stay out of their way. Bring me back to my family in one-piece dear God, these things I pray.
Amen.

Prayer #4

Dear God,
Today as we set out on the road keep those that are protected in their cages and are not watching the road from making contact with us today. To the one that holds the earth in its orbit and separates the day from the night hold our bikes to the road and separate the shiny side that faces heaven from the oily side that looks below. Keep your animals that you created off our chrome, keep the dogs in their yards and the bugs off our face. Let the roar of our engines proclaim your glory, let the leather on our backs show your love and let the boots we wear keep us standing for you, but above all these things, dear God, let us never forget why we ride, to go out on the highways and byways and proclaim the name of the Lord.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Prayer #5

May God in Heaven fulfill abundantly the prayers which are pronounced over you and your bikes on this occasion of the Blessing of the Bikes. May God bless your going out and coming in; May the Lord be with you at home and on the road. May He accompany you when you start on your many journeys: May He fill your lives abundantly with many blessings; May He keep all your rides safe. May His mercy, grace and love shine upon your every path.

In Christ Name, Amen.

Prayer #6

May the Angels of my brothers and sisters
who have gone before me guard my travels,
for they know the perils of the road ahead of me.
Keep me safe through the rough city streets
on my way to the land of swirling turns and rolling hills.

Let the turning colors of fall keep me warm.
Let the Eagle guide me to the mountain tops.
Let the moons light guide me through the night.

May my tires not fail me, nor my engine grow old,
may my bike draw life from the streams I pass.

Keep my seat soft and my mind sharp.
Let the air of spring breath life into my soul,
to journey into another adventure
alongside my brothers and sisters.

Prayer #7

May God bless you and keep you safe on this machine.

May you meet encounter the risen Lord in your travels, in the freedom of the open road, the fellowship of other bikers and in each person you meet.
May the Lord be with you at home and on the road.
May He accompany you when you start on your many journeys:
May He fill your life abundantly with his many blessings;
May He keep all your riding safe.
May His mercy, grace and love shine upon your every road.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Roll down the road so wide,
Keep me riding strong and true,
Lord I place my faith in you,
Keep me safe and keep me free,

Lord I may split the lane,
Do things crazy act insane,

I watch for cagers,
An other dangers,
Lord do your part,
I trust you with all my heart.

Prayer #10

Dear Lord, as I get ready to get on this hog and prepare to ride,
Just let me feel your presence with me riding side by side.
Let us feel the wind together blowing across our face,
Don’t let me fail to see and smell the nature around me as I ride from
place to place.
Dear Lord, keep me safe from harm and let the other drivers see me as I ride by,
And every once in awhile even though I’m a biker let them say, “Hi”.
Keep me alert and always watching for others,
Don’t let me ever fail to stop and help out one of my sisters or brothers.

And when my time on earth is up and it’s time for me to take that ride in the sky,
Just give me a chance to tell everyone I love them and don’t forget me when I die.
Lord, Thank You for letting me be a biker and doing what I loved the best,
For the many miles I traveled, places I got to go and see before I finally came to rest.
