6 Good Prayers for a Growing Boy

1 Timothy 4:12, Psalm 23:4b
Heavenly Father, I pray for growing boys within this city and land. I pray that their youth shall not be despised, but like Timothy, every boy will be an example to believers in word, conduct, love, spirit, faith and purity. I pray that they will be an example in their schools, home and society as a whole. I pray for Your spiritual, physical and emotional projection and that You will keep them from evil, Amen

Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4
Dear Lord, You said, “train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it”. As boys continue to grow, I pray that parents will continue to train them in the fear of the Lord. Lord, please help fathers to “not provoke their sons to anger, but to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord”. Father hear this prayer we ask, Amen.

Psalm 46:1
Heavenly Father, thank You for the education system, where teachers are doing their best to teach boys as they transition through each school grade. Lord as children grow and peer pressure increases, I ask that You will guard their minds and help them to recognize truth. Help them not to be influenced by others but they will trust You as their refuge and strength, this we pray Amen.

Dear Father, I pray against the spirit of deception that is operating in this world. As young boys are growing up into young teenagers, I pray against the deceptions that aim to destroy and ruin their lives. I pray against those who pretend to be friends when they are not. Help growing boys to not be deceived or keep the wrong circle of friends because as Your Word states “bad company ruins good morals”. Thank You Father for answered prayers, Amen.

Dear Lord, Your Word says, “my son, if sinners entice you, do not consent”. We pray against the spirit of giving in to enticing spirits that only leads our growing boys into prison. Help them to not enter the path of the wicked and to not walk in the way of evil. But Lord, I pray they shall find rest in Your shadow, Oh Lord, we Pray, Amen.

Holy Father, as boys continue to grow physically, they also grow emotionally. It is therefore in this growing period that I pray they will come to know You by Name and the love that You give. I pray that You will free every teenage boy from habitual and destructive behaviors in school and home. We pray for positive role models to stand alongside them and that You Lord, will transform their lives into what You want them to be, Amen.
