6 Good Prayers for Endings and New Beginnings

Ecclesiastes 3:1
Dear Father, I thank You that throughout the season of life, there are endings and new beginnings. I bless Your Word that reminds us that there is a time for every purpose under heaven. So, I thank You for the things that have ended in my life and I bless you for new beginnings in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Isaiah 43:18-19
Heavenly Father, Your Word declares, that I must forget the former things and not dwell on the past. So God, I thank You for doing a new thing in my life and now it springs up and I will perceive it. I know that You are making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. So Father, I will not dwell on my endings, but I will focus on new beginnings, in Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.

Philippians 3:13-14
Dear Lord of Hosts, in You there are endings and new beginnings. Often times, our new beginnings can be very uncertain, resulting in fear and doubt. But one thing I am assured of; forgetting what is behind and pressing towards those things which are ahead. I shall press toward the goal to win the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus Our Lord, Amen.

Psalm 57:7
Faithful God, I bless You because You are the God of new beginnings and endings. Father, at times, endings can be very painful; the ending of a loved ones life, a marriage, the loss of a job, as well as the ending of a relationship. But God, I ask that in moments of endings we recognize that it is the start of new beginnings in Jesus Name. So Lord, help us to prepare our hearts for the things you bring us out of and the new things You bring us into, Amen.

Deuteronomy 31:6, Philippians 4:6
Dear Father, You are the God of love and I thank You that You are with me in every change and transition. I trust in Your Word that says, “the Lord Your God goes with you”. Therefore, as I enter into this new season, I will not be anxious of the uncertainty, but I declare Your Word that says, I must not be anxious for anything but in everything through prayer and supplication, I will make my requests be made known unto You, Amen.

Psalm 22:11, John 10:11, Hebrews 12:2
Heavenly Father, I am about to embark on new beginnings as I face an end to this chapter of my life. So, I ask that You lead and direct me as I go through new challenges. Father, will You stay close to me so that I do not stray from You. You are my Good Shepherd and I am Your sheep; so help me to keep my eyes fixed on You as I trust You in all things. Grant me provision for all that I need, in order to start this new journey, through the directing of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Father, Amen.
