Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your only begotten son for me. May I always be truly thankful for all the sacrifices that You have made for me. I pray that I will never forget the true reason for this season. As this is the first Sunday after Christmas, let my focus not be about the temporal gifts but the eternal gift given by you Lord. Lord help me to tell others of your wonderful deeds that they may also know you, Amen.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Oh God, we thank You for the time that you have allowed us to spend with our loved ones over Christmas. During this first Sunday after Christmas, God we remember those who have not enjoyed the Christmas period for a variety of reasons and we ask that You comfort each individual in the Name of Jesus. I pray that You will continue to remind them of your unconditional love and that You will never leave or forsake them, Amen.
John 13:34
Dear Lord, I thank You for the Christmas period. I pray Lord that You will help us to always remember the unconditional love of God and help us to follow your commandments and love one another as You love us. During this first Sunday after Christmas, I pray that You will equip each of us with necessary gifts to be effective in our local community to lead others to Christ that they may also know our Lord and personal savior, Amen.
Psalm 37:4
Almighty one, I thank You for the birth of Your Son that has given me hope and prosperity. As I look forward to the coming year I pray that You keep and protect us all. I pray that I will always delight in the Lord and that You will grant me the desires of my heart. I pray for Your continual blessings from this day forward (first Sunday after Christmas) and that You will continue to direct my path as I look to You for guidance, Amen.

Father, I bless your Name as I have so much to be thankful for. Help me Lord not to be ungrateful for the constant provision and protection that You freely give to me. I pray that I will always be thankful in all circumstances. As the end of the year approaches, I pray that You will help me to reflect upon this year so I will be guided by You in my prayer life, this I ask, Amen.

Dear God, I thank You that You are Emmanuel, God with us. I pray that not only in this season but in all seasons, I will always remember that you are with me. I pray that I will always remain faithful to You and dwell in the house of the Lord forever and that Your goodness and love will follow me.
