Dear Lord, we thank you for this day that You have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless you for the scouts and the knowledge and skills we have developed over this period. Help us to give of our best and put every effort into what we do. We bless You Father, for this cub scout meeting. Lord give us understanding in all that we do and grant us courage to always do our best, in Your Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this cub scout meeting. In our time together we pray for the new friends that we have made and the games in which we play. As friends, helps us to ‘love at all times’. Give us new ideas and help us to learn new things. We pray that every member of this cub scout meeting will take their responsibilities seriously and that we will demonstrate commitment in what we do, Amen.

Dear Father, we honour you during this cub scout meeting. We give you thanks and speak blessings over every member in Jesus Name. We also thank You for the food that has been provided and for the spirit of cub scouts that is so very much with us. We bless those Lord, who have a heart to lead girls and boys within cub scouts. Lord help them to instill the characteristic of leadership You have demonstrated through Your Word, Amen.

Dear Lord, we bless You because You are the giver of all good things. So, in this meeting, we pray that you will teach us not only how to be good, but how to be good to others. Help us to do our best and Lord we bless You for all that we have learnt today. In our time together, help us to unite one with another, in love, Amen.

Heavenly Father, as we gather together in this cub scout meeting, we ask that You help us to fight against wrong thoughts and sinful desires in our lives. Teach us to be truthful at all times, because You are the way the truth and the life. We pray Lord, that this meeting will give us new life, that is fashioned by Your characteristics; this we ask, Amen.

Dear Father as we gather here today, we bless you in this meeting. We pray that You will teach us to love You and to love others, because Your Word reminds us to “love one another deeply; love covers a multitude of sins. Father in this meeting, let the love of God be made manifest in us so that we will love one another, even those who may hurt us, Amen.

Dear Lord, You have brought us to this cub scout’s meeting for a purpose. So, Father we are thankful for what You have done. We ask that You Lord, will give us a thankful heart, because Your Word reminds us that we must give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for You in Christ Jesus. So, we give thanks for each and every person in this meeting. Help us not to moan and complain, but grant us a cheerful heart, Amen.
