John 14:1
Righteous God, my grandson is in trouble right now, but I pray that Your favor shines over his life once again. I pray that he looks to You and does not fixate on what he sees. Let Your hope uplift him in his time of trouble. I pray that he does not let his heart be troubled, but I pray that He believes in You and Your Son Christ Jesus, Amen.
Psalm 46:1
Sovereign God, You are beyond whatever we could ever ask, think or imagine and we are in awe of You for that. We pray that this revelation shines a light in the darkness every grandson feels surrounded by. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Lord, You are with those grandsons’ who are in trouble right now. So Father, let Your Word penetrate their minds, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
2 Corinthians 6:4
Oh Father, above all we are servants of You. We commend ourselves in every way as servants of You: in great endurance, in sufferings, in hardships and calamities of every kind. I pray that this identity in You is what my grandson holds on to during his time of trouble. Let not his heart be troubled, I ask that You fill him with an overwhelming sense of peace instead, this is the prayer of my heart, Amen.
Jeremiah 30:7
Faithful God, in Your Word we see that Your people suffered greatly; in all history there was many examples of such trouble and terror – the time of Jacob’s unequaled trouble. Even so, Your Word declares that they would be saved from it. No matter the circumstance, Lord, You are still placed at the center. I pray that every troubled grandson understands that no situation is too big for You to handle. I pray that they will put their life (and his trust) in Your hands, Amen.
Proverbs 4:23
Holy God, I pray for my grandson’s life right now as he faces various trials. I pray against those around him who seek to kill and destroy him. I pray that You will protect his heart from unworthy people. Help him to guard his heart above all else, for it determines the course of his life. Lord direct his path at all times, even when darkness attempts to blind him from what is right and good, Amen.
James 1:5
Oh Savior, my grandson lacks wisdom, but I know that You are the answer. I pray that his heart softens and that he reaches to You in his times of trouble as You give generously to all, who ask of You, without finding fault. I pray that the things he asks for that are of Your will, shall be added to him for the goodness of his life. I know that his time of trouble is only temporary, thank You for his victory! Amen.
1 Thessalonians 2:11-12
Father in heaven, I pray for my grandson right now as he experiences difficult times in his walk of faith. I pray Lord that he remembers that he is Your child, You deal with Your people as a father would his own child, encouraging, comforting and urging them to live lives worthy of You, as You call them into Your Kingdom and Glory. I pray that my grandson turns to You for strength and comfort, Amen.
