7 Heartfelt Prayers for the Sick

Jeremiah 17:14, Isaiah 53:5, James 5:15
Dear Lord, I declare the word of Jeremiah; “heal me, Oh Lord and I will be healed.” Father, I pray for divine healing in Jesus’ name, because it is by Your stripes that I am healed. So I offer this prayer by faith and believe that the sick person will be made well. I believe that the Lord will raise them up. So Lord, by Your power and authority, raise up every sick person in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans 12:1, Exodus 23:25
Dear Lord, we come against the power of sickness which is destroying and crippling our bodies. Father, You said that, we must present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. So God, I declare that my body belongs to You and I will worship You and receive the blessings that You have promised. Thank You for Your Word which reminds me that You will take away sickness from among us. I trust Your Word. Amen.

Jeremiah 30:17
Lord, it is not Your will for Your people to live in complete sickness. It is not Your will for Your people to live without hope. It is not Your desire for us to live without faith. It is also not Your desire for us to live without trusting and believing in the power and manifestation of Your Word. So Lord, to the power of sickness, we proclaim Your Word and say, “For I will restore You to health and heal Your wounds” declares the Lord. Thank You, Lord, for restoration. Amen.

Romans 8:28
Father God, we do not accept the position of permanent sickness in Your name. You said that You put to death and You bring to life. You have wounded and You will heal. So, Lord, in this time of seeking Your face, teach us Your patience and timing, knowing that all things work together for those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20
Father, we pray this prayer of healing, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or think. So, we thank You for Your healing powers that flows within every organ of our bodies. We thank you that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We believe and trust in You. We know that there is no sickness or condition greater than Your power to heal. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

2 John 1:2
Heavenly Father, we pray for the Spirit of healing to flow into our churches, so that the enemy of sickness be exposed. We declare 3 John 1:2, over our lives: “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” We declare spiritual, physical and emotional healing, through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Isaiah 33:2, Psalm 30:2
Heavenly Father, we pray for emotional healing. It is Satan’s desire to take and control our minds. We ask that You, Lord, will be our strength every morning and our salvation in the time of distress. We call to You for help. I thank You, Lord, that have You healed me. Help us, Lord, to keep our minds on You. Amen.
