7 Powerful Prayers for Diversity and Inclusion

Galatians 3:28
Lord help us to see things like You do. Your Word says that there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for You are all one in Christ Jesus. I pray that You speak to my heart so that I can remember that no one is better than another because of appearance or any other earthly attribute. I pray that I respect the diversity of mankind and embrace that we are all one, Amen.

Acts 17:26-27
Heavenly God, from Adam you made every nation of mankind to live on all the earth. You did this because You are a God of no partiality and You do not regard a person’s nationality but desire that we seek You so that we may be saved. We all stem from one man – Adam, therefore You do not see us as different races, You see us as one: the human race. I pray that I too look at people the same way You do, help me to show Your love, Amen.

Ezekiel 47:22
Oh Lord, in Ancient Israel You commanded that the non-Israelites were allowed to become part of the nation with no discrimination or prejudice because You desired all people to draw near to You. Father, You seek people irrespective of their place in society, but you seek people’s hearts. I thank You for being a God who doesn’t discriminate, help me also to see things like You do and not discriminate against Your people, Amen.

Colossians 3:11
God of Love, Your Word declares that there is no Greek and Jew circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. Lord You do not regard a person’s nationality because we are Your people regardless of the national identity we hold. I pray that I remember this when I encounter different people, I pray that I look not at an individual’s nationality, but I pray that I see them as Your child, Amen.

Romans 2:11
Righteous Savior, I thank You for being an all-loving, faithful and everlasting God. Your Word says that You do not show favoritism because You do not prefer one nation over another. I pray that You renew my mind so that I can reflect Your love to all people. I pray that I embrace diversity and do not exclude people because of prejudices I hold in my heart. Have Your divine way in me, Amen.

Revelation 7:9
Dear Lord, Your Word reveals to us that in Your kingdom there is an immeasurable amount of people from every nation, from all tribes and people; and from all languages. This diverse multitude are all worshipers of You who stand before the throne and before the lamb clothed in white robes crying out that salvation belongs to You. In heaven, there is diversity and inclusion, so let this be my mind-set here on earth too, Amen.

1 Corinthians 12: 12-14
Oh God, in Your church is diversity as Your Word declares that just as the body, though one, has many parts to form one body, so it is with Christ. We were all baptized with one Spirit to form one body. Thank You for including everyone so that we could all contribute to being a reflection of You. I pray that I appreciate the diversity among my church brothers and sisters and embrace their different nationalities, talents, gifts etc, Amen.
