7 Powerful Prayers for Primary School Assemblies

Philippians 4:13
Dear God, I thank You today and I bless You for every single child here in this school assembly. I pray that as each child learns and progresses through school, help them to believe that they can achieve all things through Christ who strengthens them. I pray that You will equip each child with the necessary skills, ability and knowledge to be successful in school and in life. When challenges come may You always remind them that your word is faithful and true, Amen.

Proverbs 22:6, Matthew 5:14, Psalm 127:3
Heavenly Father, I bless Your Name today and I thank You for this school assembly. I thank You for children because Your Word says that children are a heritage from the Lord. We pray for those who are here and those that were not able to be here today. I pray that You will train up each child in the way of the Lord, that when they are old, they will not depart. I declare and decree that they shall be the light of this world and that they will draw the lost to You Lord, Amen.

Joshua 1:9
Dear Lord, I bless Your Name today and thank you for all the children that You have created. I pray that You will grant each child courage so they will be able to stand firm on their beliefs and will follow You all the days of their life. Father, as they gather together in this school assembly, allow them to not be afraid of the situations in this world but allow them to remember that You are with them and that You are their shelter and everything they need You to be, Amen.

Psalm 91:1-2, Philippians 4:8
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to pray for these children during this school assembly and I commit each child into your mighty hands. Lord we acknowledge that we live in a world of uncertainty full of violence and crime. But God we are certain of Your protection and I pray that You will hide each child under the shadow of the Almighty and they will not be influenced by anything that is not of You, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Ephesians 4:32
Oh Lord, I give You thanks today and commit each child into your tender loving hands. During this school assembly I pray that as each child grows, they will grow in love. Allow them to know what is right and wrong so they will not hurt others or sin against You. I pray that their hearts will be compassionate towards others as You are Lord. As they grow allow them to be kind to one another, tender hearted and forgiving one another, this we pray, Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:33
Dear God, I thank You for Your divine blessings over every child today during this school assembly. Father, although there are so many influences in this world, we pray for Godly influences over our children, so they will learn to do good. We pray that the friendship choices they make will prosper them and not hinder them because bad company ruins good morals. We pray that our children will be ambassadors for Christ and they will defend those who are weak, this we pray, Amen.

Psalm 139:14
Heavenly Father, I give You thanks today for the growth of every child in this school. Father, you created every child in your image and they are beautiful. I declare and decree that they will not suffer from low self-esteem or image as Your Words say that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. I pray that as they progress through school, they will excel at all they do in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
