7 Scriptural Prayers for Spiritual Growth

Colossians 1:9-10
Awesome God, I praise You for who You are and for all that You have done for me. Lord, I pray that I do not cease in praying for myself and those around me. I also pray that You may fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that I can be given insight to walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You, Amen.

Matthew 5:6
Beautiful Father, just as the deer pants for the water, so does my soul thirst and long for You! Your Word declares that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed because they shall be satisfied. I thank You in advance for satisfying my hunger and for quenching my thirst. Lord, there is no one like You. Nobody makes my soul feel whole like You do, so hear my voice, and hear my heart. So, Lord I thank You for spiritual growth, in Jesus Name, Amen.

2 Peter 1:5-8
Righteous God, I pray that I make every effort to supplement my faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. I pray that I do not become content in my position in You because I know that each day is an opportunity for spiritual growth. For if these qualities are mine and are increasing, I can be effective and fruitful in You, Amen.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
Living God, I pray that Your word is the keeper of my heart, mind and soul because all Scripture is breathed out by You. Your word is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. I declare that my depth in Your word will bring depth in our spiritual relationship. I declare spiritual maturity and spiritual growth as I continue to seek You; this is the prayer of my heart, Amen.

Psalm 1:1-3
Holy Father, I pray that You guide my steps. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Your law. I declare that I will meditate on Your law, day and night so that I can grow spiritually. Father, I want to be like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that I do, I will prosper, Amen.

1 Corinthians 14:20
God of Heaven, I pray that You renew my mind so that I can continue to think like You do. I pray that I am not childlike in my thinking, but instead let my childlike thinking be covered under the blood of Jesus. Lord, let my thinking be mature, so that my actions and my lifestyle will glorify You in every way. Lord, help me to grow spiritually so that I can be equipped when dealing with the things of this world. I declare increase, growth and maturity in my life, Amen.

2 Peter 3:18, Colossians 1:9-10
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this opportunity for spiritual growth. Lord, we will grow in the grace and knowledge of You, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So, Father help us to never cease to pray and we ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. We shall walk in a manner worthy of You Lord, and we pray that as we grow spiritually, we will bear fruit in every good work, Amen.
