Proverbs 3:6
Dear Lord, we thank you that you have allowed us the opportunity to be a part of this civic occasion. We pray Lord that you will be at the center of the decisions made and that we will acknowledge You in all we do that you may direct the furtherance of this gathering. Lord we also pray that all of the decisions that we make will positively impact and bless the local businesses, schools and wider community, Amen.

Ecclesiastes 2:26
Our Father, we give you thanks and bless Your holy Name. Father we ask for Your blessings upon each individual here today during this civic occasion and those who were not able to be here. In all that we do we pray that we are able to please You and carry out Your work that we might receive Your wisdom, knowledge and happiness. Father help us to use this knowledge wisely that we may be effective in the local wider community, Amen.

Psalm 91:4, 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Oh God, we thank You that you are faithful. God, I ask that you will cover this town under your mighty wings, were we will all be safe. I pray that you will direct the officials in how to deal with the violence that is occurring on our streets, that it will cease in the name of Jesus. I pray that no more blood shall be shed and that you will strengthen and protect us from the evil ones, Amen.

Philippians 4:13
Almighty one, I thank You for this meeting today. Lord we have an agenda but we ask that Your Holy Spirit will lead and direct all discussions that take place during this civic occasion. I pray that You will use the skills and abilities within each of us to accomplish the tasks set before us. Help us to remain positive in all decisions made and to always remember that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unconditional love towards us and we thank You for this civic occasion. I pray that You will help us to live as brothers and sisters, that we may walk in fellowship with one another and love one another. I come against the plan of disunity from the enemy and that we will be able to live in perfect piece with each other. I pray that our diversity will not cause divisions but will perfectly unify us in mind and thought, Amen.
