7 Strong Prayers for Facebook Friends

Psalm 46:10
O great God, I pray for my Facebook Friends. I pray that even though they go through good days, sad days, busy days and stressful days, they will stay still and know that You are God. I pray that they do not judge the days like Facebook encourages them too; instead I pray that they understand that You are God who sees the bigger picture. Father, You are always in control, I pray that they remember this, Amen.

1 Corinthians 16:14
Righteous God, as Your Word urges me to do everything in love, I pray for my Facebook friends. I know some friends better than others, and do not know some friends at all but I pray that You bless them. I pray that You cover them everywhere they go. You know their individual situations and You know what they need right now. Let Your face shine on them in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Proverbs 27:17
Dear Father, I pray for my friends on Facebook who use the app in a way that does not build up other people. I pray for those who use Facebook to gloat, intimidate or look down upon others. I pray for a renewed mind for those individuals, and I pray that the content that they post works to better others. Just as iron sharpens iron, one man can sharpen and influence another. I pray that my Facebook friends remember this when they post, Amen.

John 15:12-15
Heavenly God, I pray that my Facebook friends love each other as You love them. Too often I see arguments and disagreements posted publicly on people’s walls. I pray that the attitude of friendship that You have extended to them is extended and exchanged between all my Facebook friends. I pray for peace and love on their timelines. Let love be the most common thing they encounter online. Thank You Lord, Amen.

Proverbs 12:26
Righteous God, I pray that my Facebook friends choose their friends wisely. Your Word states that the righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. This principle of selecting good friends should be carried out online, therefore I pray that my Facebook friends who are believers do not accept requests from those who will influence them and lead them astray with the content that they post, Amen.

Psalm 46:1-3
Dear Lord, I pray that my Facebook friends remember that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. I pray that even though their children are rebelling, or they struggle with their grades or their workplace is a burden; I pray that they will not fear. Though it feels as though the earth is falling and the mountains move into the sea, let the revelation of You and Your divine nature be the source of their peace, Amen.

Isaiah 41:10
Everlasting God, I pray that my Facebook friends do not fear because You are with them. I pray that they are not dismayed for You are their God. You promise to always strengthen and help them. You uphold them with Your righteous right hand. I thank You for being the rock that they can lean on when they feel alone. I thank You for being their peace in times of distress. I pray that my Facebook friends draw closer to You because You are a great God, Amen.
