He suggests that our resources and capacities of our earth are completely full, and we are getting further and further into the hole every single year. The way that he prevents this chilling information is so easily relate able and realistic that it is terrifying. While he speaks on the problems in a scary way, he also brings a hopeful view to a solution to the problems that we are experiencing.
