6 Midnight Prayers For Marriage

Ephesians 2:3, John 8:44
Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Thank You for this marriage. We are assured that staying married is Your will for us. Help us to never be self-centered but to serve one another. Father, help us to work at our marriage because we recognize that Satan wants to destroy it. But Father, during this midnight cry, please stop Satan’s work in our lives and destroy his plans against our marriage in Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 84:11
Dear Father, we know that our marriage is blessed, but at times we are overwhelmed by the challenges and dark shadows that appear to be rising up against us. But in the Name and power of Jesus Christ, we pray that every delayed blessing and gift of God be released over our marriage right now. We declare that during this midnight prayer, no good thing will You withhold from us, Amen.

1 Kings 21:25
Dear Father, we pray against the spirit of separation, that wants to keep us apart from one another. We declare that we will not entertain the spirit of untruth that aims to infiltrate our marriage, but we plead love, truth, unity and intimacy right now. As we pray this midnight prayer, we evoke satanic assignments over every marriage. We pray against the spirit of Ahab and Jezebel that seeks to destroy and wreck this covenant in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Matthew 6:14-15
Heavenly Father, in line with Your Word, we pray that our love will be without dissimulation and that we shall abhor that which is evil. We cast down the spirit of unforgiveness that penetrates our hearts as husband and wife. In this midnight watch, we ask that the spirit of patience, trust and forgiveness will be released in the Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, Amen.

John 3:16
Dear Father, we thank You for Your unconditional love. We pray that just as you went to the cross to demonstrate Your love towards us, in this marriage, we ask for the spirit of agape love to manifest in our dealings one with another. In this midnight hour, we pray that You will guide us in speaking truth about our feelings. In doing so, help us to lay down anger, spite and arrogancy in Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Matthew 23:12
Heavenly Father, we pray that You will bring us into closer fellowship with You. Help us to place You at the center of our marriage, rather than each other’s faults and downfalls. During this midnight prayer, we cancel our self-righteous and selfish attitudes in Jesus Name. Teach us how to be humble in our marriage, because if we exalt ourselves then we will be humbled. Father, we ask that the Holy Spirit, will convict us and that we will change, modelling the image and love of Christ Jesus, Amen.
