6 Uplifting Prayers for Easter Vigil

Luke 24:2-3
Dear Lord, I worship You because You wear the Victor’s Crown. The scripture says that they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of Jesus. Lord I thank You for Your resurrecting power, because of it, I too can have the victory in life. I thank You Father for sacrificing Your only Son so that we all can be free, Amen.

John 11:25-26
Eternal One, You are the resurrection and the life. Because I believe in You, I too will live, and even though they die, those who believe in You will never die! I thank You because in You I am guaranteed everlasting life! I am grateful for Your grace, mercy and love because it is only through these that we are given the opportunity to live in eternal peace with You! Amen.

1 Peter 1:3
God of Heaven, praise be to You who sits on the throne, high and lifted up. In Your great mercy, You have given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Your son Jesus Christ from the dead. You made a way so that Your people can live eternally with You! Lord I adore You for the sacrifice You made for the salvation of Your people, Amen.

Luke 24:6-7
Precious Saviour, when they rolled back the stone, they declared that You were not there and that You had risen. You told them whilst You were still in Galilee that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of the sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again. Lord I thank You because You were faithful to us so that Your word could be fulfilled through Your son Jesus Christ, Amen.

Acts 3:15
Oh Lord, glory be to Your Name! You deserve all the praise, the honour and the glory for who You are. The Author of Life was killed by man, but You raised Him from the dead! Lord there is nothing that man can do that You cannot overcome, You have power over everything and for that I praise You! I thank You for Your resurrection and I appreciate the sacrifice You made so that I can stand here today freely in a relationship with You, Amen.

Romans 6:8-11
Heavenly Father, if we die with You, we will also live with You. We know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again, death no longer has mastery over Him. The death He died, He died to sin once and for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God. In the same way, I count myself as dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Lord I thank You for freeing me from the law of the land and giving me peace in Your law, Amen.
