7 Good Prayers for Children to Say in Church

Psalm 19:1
God of heaven, the heavens declare Your glory and the angels worship at Your throne! How amazing that all of creation is called to worship You. As a child, I pray that You give me a heart of worship so that I can give You the glory and honor that You deserve! I thank You for my life and I thank You for everything that You have done for me. Lord I offer my praises to You for You are more than good! How excellent is Your Name, Amen.

John 3:16-17
Heavenly Father, I thank You so much for who You are. You loved the world so much that You have given Your only Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but will have eternal life! You didn’t send Your Son to send us to hell, but You sent Him so that through Him, children like me can be saved! Wow, thank you for Your unconditional love. Thank You for Your grace and for Your mercies, Amen.

Romans 3:23
Eternal God, Your Word says that we have all sinned and fallen short of Your glory. As your child, I understand that I will make mistakes and/or do wrong, but I pray that You guide me so that as your child in this church, I can be more and more like You each day. Father forgive me for the wrongs that I have done and give me the strength to be Your light in this dark world, Amen.

Romans 6:23
Awesome God, the result of sin is death, but the gift You give is eternal life through Christ Jesus my Lord! Thank You Lord for making a way that I can be with You for the rest of my life! So as a child in this church, I want to thank You for this precious gift and I pray that I do everything that I can to show You that I deserve it. I pray that I turn away from my sins so that I can live eternally in peace with You, Amen.

Psalm 56:3
Dear God, I pray that whenever I feel afraid, I put my trust in You. God, You have never let me down because it is not in Your nature to do so. Lord as Your child, I thank You that I can trust in You whenever I am alone, whenever grown-ups in the church let me down or whenever I feel lost. I pray that when fear comes to my mind, I put my trust in You because as Your child, You do not want me be fearful of anything. I give You my trust and I thank You for my courage! Amen.

Matthew 28:20
Righteous God, with You I am never alone! I am not alone because You are with me. Your Word tells me to remember that You are with me always, even to the end of age. You are always watching over Your children and wanting the beat for us. So, thank You Lord God because You are so good to me! Thank You because You have chosen to always stick by me no matter what the situation! Amen.

Philippians 4:13
Precious God, as your child, when I feel like giving up, or whenever I feel like I can’t do something, I pray that I remember Your Word. Philippians 4:13 tells me that I can do all things through You who strengthens me! I am a winner because You have given me the strength to take the victory that You have promised me. Lord I adore You for this and thank You for this. So, in this service today, I want to say that there is nothing that You cannot do and because of this, there is nothing that I cannot do! Amen.
