Psalm 103:13
Oh Lord, right now I am in a desperate situation and all I can do is worship You for who You are. I thank You because as a Father shows compassion to his children, You show compassion to those who fear You. You know my frame and You know what I can bear. I thank You because I know that You understand me and see me in my current state. So thank You, Lord. Amen.
Proverbs 3:5
Heavenly Father, life is honestly difficult right now, but I pray that the difficulty that I am facing, help me to be the person that You want me to be. I have learnt obedience through what I have suffered and I thank You for it. I have learned to trust solely in You because You are God alone and Your Word reminds me to trust in the Lord with all my heart and to not lean on my own understanding. You are my way-maker and miracle worker, in Jesus’s Name. Amen.
Matthew 10:29-31
God of Love, it is easy to become fearful in desperate times. It is easy to think that You are not in control because of what we see and what we experience. But Father, You have numbered the hairs on our head! You are concerned with every detail of our lives. So, Lord we thank You for being with us and watching over our lives. We pray that we feel Your watchful eye and protective heart as we journey through our desperate situations. This is the prayer of our heart. Amen.
Matthew 19:28-30
Eternal God, I have labored and I am heavy laden! I choose to come to You for in You I will find the rest my soul desires for whilst I go through my difficult time. I will take Your yoke from You and learn from You for You are gentle and lowly in heart. I thank You for the rest I am guaranteed in You and I thank You also for being the light of my heavy burden. Continue to be my source of peace in every hopeless situation. Amen.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Holy God, blessed be Your Name in all the earth. Blessed are You, Father of Jesus, the Father of mercies, and God of all comfort. Lord, You comfort me in all my affliction, so that I can then comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort which I have been given by You. Help me to not be bitter in my desperation. I pray that I can help others who feel desperate by demonstrating the love and peace that You extended onto me. Amen.

Almighty God, we hold fast to You in love, therefore we know that You will deliver us. We know Your Name so we know that You will protect us. Thank You God, because when we call out to You, You always answer. You are with us in our troubles and with long life You will satisfy us, and You will show us Your salvation. Worthy is Your Name, Lord. Amen.
James 1:12
Oh God, give me the strength to endure my trials because blessed is he that does so. I know that after standing the tests that I face, I will receive the crown of life, which You have promised to those who love You. I adore You because I know that my reward is greater in You than in this world. You see my current situation and understand my pain, but none of this compares to the glory and joy that I will experience with You in heaven. So thank You, Lord. Amen.
