7 Powerful Prayers for a Husband Who Has Left

Isaiah 43:19
Most Holy and Righteous Father, my husband has left the marital home, but You are a loving and all-knowing God. Lord, Your Word reminds me that, You will do a new thing and You make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert; so with You Lord, all things are possible. Therefore, I pray that my husband does not perish but instead comes to You for repentance. Lord, I place my marriage and the heart of my husband before You, Amen.

Philippians 4:13 & Matthew 19:26
Dear Lord, I know that I can do all things through You who gives strength. I pray that You strengthen me in this difficult period of my marriage. I pray that you soften the heart of my husband and through the blood of Jesus, I stand against the spirit of stubbornness and unforgiveness. With me alone, this request is impossible, but with You Lord it is possible. I thank You for hearing my cry, Amen.

Proverbs 19:21
Dear Father, I thank You because You see our life’s journey – the start, middle and end. Lord, my husband is in a place of pain and anger right now and is on a path that I as a wife cannot support. Lord, in his mind he feels he is doing the right thing, but Your Word says that there are many plans in a man’s heart, however, it is Your purpose that will stand until the end of time. Lord, I pray that Your counsel will stand in this marriage, Amen.

Proverbs 28:26
Oh Lord My God, I pray for the heart, mind and soul of my husband. I pray that he reflects on our marriage and understands that he who trusts in his own heart is a fool as the heart is deceitful above all things. Allow him to trust in what You want for our marriage and help us not to be overly sensitive and react to the things that are unimportant. Unite us together, by Your power Lord, Amen.

Romans 8:28
Heavenly Father, I love You with all my heart, but it is hard to accept that my husband and I are not in a good place right now. Lord I may not know why my husband has left but I am certain that in all things You work for the good of those who love You and who have been called according to Your purpose. Have Your divine way over my husband and I, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Dear Lord, I thank You for my husband and even though we don’t see eye to eye right now, help us in this difficult period. Father, although my husband has left, I acknowledge the divine heavenly agreement that You have joined us together as husband and wife. But God, if I am honest, it does not feel like a marriage, instead it feels like a war. However, I trust in Your Word and declare, that You can do exceedingly abundantly more than I could ever ask or think, according to Your Power that works in us, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Proverbs 15:1
Almighty God, Your Word reminds us that a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. I pray that You help my husband and I to refrain from using harsh words one to another because a harsh statement provokes fury. Father, even though my husband has left, I declare peace over our relationship in Jesus Name. I pray that peace shall be restored to our hearts, by Your power and authority, in Jesus Name, Amen.
