Exodus 20:12
Dear Lord, Your Word commands us to honor our mother and father, and that in doing so our days will be long in the land that You have given us. Just as we honor and respect You, I pray that we honor and respect one another in this household. Let our troubles and trials not cause a drift between us but let our family unity be upheld by the honor we have for one another in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Colossians 3:13
Matchless One, I pray that You have Your divine way within every family in trouble and turmoil. I pray that every family member will be open enough to share with one another. I pray that if we complain against the other, help us to demonstrate forgiveness, just as You have forgiven. I pray against conflict and unnecessary confrontation in every family relationship. Let every family be founded upon Your awesome love and we ask that the peace of God will be the blanket in which we cover ourselves, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Psalm 133:1
Oh Lord, You see that as a family we have been through a lot and are still going through turmoil. But Lord, we pray that we can live together in unity for this is good and pleasant in Your eyes. We ask that the turmoil that we face as a family, does not filter into our individual relationships for it is a good thing for Your people to be able to live together in harmony as one. Let us be an example to those around us that families can be made stronger by Your help in the midst of our turmoil, Amen.
Romans 12:9
King of Kings, I thank You for Your love for each of us. Thank You for bringing us to where we are as individuals and as a family unit. Lord I pray that the love we have for one another is genuine. When things are going bad, it can feel harder to show love and other Godly traits but let us abhor what is evil. I pray that we hold fast to what is good and acceptable in Your divine eyes. Let us be reflections of You both in and out of our troubles, Amen.
Colossians 3:15
Dear Father, I worship You for Your beautiful works! Even in the trouble and turmoil, I can see that I can find peace and comfort in You. Your Word declares that we should let the peace of God rule in our hearts, since as members of one body we are called to peace. We are also called to be thankful. I pray that this family meditates on this word day and night so that we can feel at peace as the waves of trouble and the storms of turmoil seek to break us. Lord we are strengthened because of You, so thank You Lord, Amen.

Great are You Lord, the earth bows before You and so do I. We thank You for this family because we are blessed by You. Lord, we pray that even in our turmoil we see that we are still blessed and highly favored. We pray that we will continue to honor one another because what You have joined together, let no man separate. I declare that our family ties will not be separated by trouble, instead let them remain renewed and strengthened by our trust and faith in You, Amen.
